Alexandre Dufour (born in France, 1983) obtained the M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence & Pattern Recognition from Pierre & Marie Curie University (Paris, France) in 2004, and the Ph.D. in Image Analysis from Descartes University (Paris, France) in 2007. From 2004 to 2007, he was a Junior Scientist at Institut Pasteur Korea (Seoul, South Korea), where he developed pioneering image analysis tools for 3D High-Content Screening of cell-based assays. He is now a Junior Scientist at Institut Pasteur (Paris, France), where he focuses on 2D/3D analysis of motility and deformation processes at the cellular and multi-cellular level. He is also a Member of the IEEE, the IEEE Signal Processing Society, and an Associate Member of the IEEE Bio Imaging and Signal Processing Technical Committee (BISP- TC).
